About me
I am Joseph Benjamin Sharabi, born in the USA and currently living in Jerusalem. I am a descendant of the holy Kabbalist Rabbi Shalom Sharabi, also known as the Harashash. Harashash miraculously escaped a difficult situation and kept his vow to leave Yemen and live in Jerusalem. He was the Rosh Yeshiva of the "Beit El" Yeshiva, the center for the study of Kabbalah, and composed the siddur "Kevonot Harashash" for prayer. As a descendant of the Harashash, I was influenced by his legacy. I also left the United States to live in Jerusalem and I am a Certified Scribe Scroll Writer, which is a field related to prayer, Tefillin as well as Torah scrolls and scrolls.
